Stag Studios is one of the largest and most established professional recording & rehearsal studios in Essex. Established in 2003, they are close to the town centre and situated conveniently just off the A12. Easily accessible from both the North and South.
Stag Studios offer a relaxed, and creative, atmosphere for rehearsing and recording. It is very spacious, covering approximately 4000 square/foot. It houses five high spec rehearsal rooms, a low cost practice room, and includes a high spec recording suite. We use “Mackie” hardware and “Steinberg” Software. This incorporates a vast range of professional plugins, and VST instruments, for total control of as many tracks as required. This ensures plenty of scope for full production. Our software is completely compatible with home recording software. This means that they can take your tracks, and enhance them, through to the mastering stage. The control room is coupled to a 260 square/foot live recording area, and a comfortable lounge to chill out in between takes!
Their control room, and live recording area, has been specifically designed, by professional acoustic consultants, to ensure the best possible sound when recording live instruments. Auralex acoustic treatment has been carefully installed as an extra layer onto the already treated walls; this treatment is specific to the room shape and structure.
